Gabe! hmm. This is really different. I love the simplicity of the first recording. I like the harmonica and the harmonies!!! whoa, baby! The drums... I'm actually not sure. They for sure give it a totally different feel. Like more rock, less folky. It sounds like a song for a whole band to play--not just a singer/songwriter. But I do think it's cool how you can record over yourself with the harmonies and stuff. I like the line "where the sky meets to sunshine." that's new and it works.

i'm going to tell you right here and now---this is one of the most well crafted folk songs i've ever read/listened to sung. i didn't hear anything but your excellent vocals and read the word of your song. i'm going to put your name up on my site to refer to your site. this is a beautiful song. all the production stuff will come later. ------jd
