I wrote the lyrics to this all in one sitting as i was petting a purring cat. its basically just a reflection on how little it takes to make cats happy, just some love. ANd maybe thats all everyone needs......also its just ramblings about philosophical stuff. the lyrics to this song arent my favorite, just cause theyre a little too straightforward, preachy and confessional, but....it's what i believe.
the recording....the meow by my little sister Ana at the beginning is proof im getting used to this recording stuff and can ease up and play around a bit. so is the sweet electric guitar and trumpet at the end. Natalie Potts, my amiga, provides the beautiful, breathy harmonies (well, technically, im doing the harmony and shes doing the melody during the "dont look so lonely" part) and is probably laughing at how not like me I sound when i write these descriptions. Artists are arrogant.
Anyways, im pretty pleased with this recording.
